All are Welcome!
by Carolyn Alberts and Phyllis Albee
Thank you and our utmost appreciation to all who took part in the Episcofollies. The talent in this congregation is amazing. We will never view the universe in the same way and we will definitely have more respect for that bread maker sitting in our pantry! Fundraising will never be the same and the Wizard of Oz has taken on new meaning.
The Men’s Group, namely John Albee, George Kelley, Tom Bassler, Walt Siring, Dave Lyon, Paul Vilandre and Nathaniel Ludlow, were responsible for transforming the parish hall into a theatre. The actors were terrific, the stage crew amazing and the audience spectacular! The donations were overwhelming and we were able to give $3,500 to the North Idaho Violence Prevention Center (Women’s Shelter).
Now, all that remains of the Episcofollies is a feather floating around or a silver sequin shining on the carpet. The parish hall is back to normal as though nothing out of the ordinary has occurred. But the echoes of laughter and the memories will remain.
