Life Together

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here.

And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25

We invite all who participate in our mission and ministry to a fuller life in Christ Jesus. We offer classes, opportunities for prayer, book studies, and more.  The sacraments of our church offer spiritual markers in our faith journey that can serve as a means of grace.

Our Life Together

“My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together.” Archbishop Desmund Tutu.

We form community because we are created in the image of God, with each of us reflecting a unique and creative aspect of God. In community we celebrate this uniqueness, the gifts, talents, and inspirations of each other, upholding and uplifting each other.

We are not meant to do life alone. It is through our community, sharing life together, that we are able to keep ourselves grounded.  If we find ourselves faltering in life, we can reach out to our community for support, help and prayer.

Like the early Christians, we can live our life building an authentic Christian community. We can be intentional in our interactions with others, hospitable and available to others. We can learn from each other, be forgiving and develop relationships that allow us to be vulnerable, to let down our guard and open up with each other.

We are invited together to live the way of love, as Christ Jesus taught us.

Becoming More Involved with St. Luke’s

Membership is not a requirement. We warmly welcome you to join any of our classes, events, ministries, or activities! If you would like more information on any of the offerings or sacraments, call the church office or send a request. Our Welcoming and Involving brochure offers a good overview of what you can find at St. Luke’s. It is a source of great joy to all of us when new people visit and participate in the vibrant work of St. Luke’s.
